Eviction Question

    I’m needing to file an eviction in Tarrant County for non payment of rent.

    Do I need to give a 3 day notice or 30 day notice in this COVID world?


    Helpful info:

    1. I do not have a Government backed loan

    2. The tenant has not given me a CDC form stating they have loss job/income due to covid.


    Based on my understanding, I can file eviction. Just need to know how much notice I need to give tenant.


    Any help would be appreciated.

    I believe you have to give them a 3 day notice to vacate.

    Be aware, even if you file an eviction with the court, it is likely they will not schedule a hearing for it.  You probably want to check with them.

    If your using a Texas Real Estate commission  lease it's 1 day.  Check your lease it should say how many days.
