I own several properties in Land Trust with a close friend as Trustee. We just received information from Chesapeake asking for social security of the trustee in order for them to issue checks. I do not want the trustee to have to file returns on income when the trustee is instructed to make all deposits back to beneficiary. Any ideas on how to resolve this?
I was thinking to send them Trust agreement and instructing them to make all checks payable to beneficiary.
