City of FW is planning a vote on Tues. Dec. 6th of this new multifamily housing Ordinance...
their website has a page dedicated to this, and they are taking comments.  Please go leave yours...and if you really want to show FW opposition to this, show up Tues. at City Council meeting.  I recommend getting in contact with Don Klik before hand to see if they plan to meet shortly before, and perhaps to all wear white shirts, and sit together...we did that at NRH when they wanted (and did) pass a crummy ordinance (but not quite as terrible as this one is).

Anyone who has RENTAL housing in ft worth or surrounding areas, should take a look at this link. http://fortworthtexas.gov/citynews/default.aspx?id=91336

Spread the news - share this link on other real estate forums!
This is what they are doing to those who have multi-family units. Particularly strict on 8 Unit bldgs. or more. (Although, they have stuff for duplexes side by side, or back to back, and Quads.) Please go to this link ASAP - make comments on the ordinances to let the FW Council members and Mayor etc. know there are unhappy business people out there who think their rules are WAY over reaching, and unnecessary, AND unfairly singling out some people for aggressive surveillance, while avoiding others. And, just because you don't have the type of multi-family that is targeted, once this passes, they can just keep coming down the line. In fact, this is the 2nd rental ordinance to be considered in Ft Worth, the last one passed, now another ....then another and soforth! Don't think it can happen in your city? Think again, and look around!  Other cities are cracking down too!
