anyone know of what precautions, advice etc to give if looking at fire damaged homes?
I'm assuming you have to pull permits as well with city ?
Any advice on what to do or expect or look out for would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
In my experience one of the hidden things to consider is that as a result of the heat the insulation on electrical wiring can get very brittle. It will need to be replaced. As well you will likely need to replace the all the duct work because of the smoke.
