    Hello,

I'm searching for a Mobile Home General Contractor... I may have asked this before but can't find my original post. I purchased a house with land earlier this year in Ft. Worth, and the land has a Mobile Home on it.. I'm looking to possibly move the home and rehab it, but my "guy" has very limited experience with Mobile Homes.... Does anyone on here work with Mobile Homes  and/or know of contractors who work on them?

With the cost of moving the mobile home (outrageous) and the work that needs to be done on it, I'm also considering just demolishing the unit as well.... Any advice would be appreciated.

Mobile Home rehabs can get very pricey.  My first MH took over $30K to rehab.  I would consider selling mobile home and concentrating on land.

Hi Brian, mobile homes seem to cost about $5K; to move either in or out of a space, and repair. Strange? If you need bigger repairs, run, or buy it for the land only and haul the mobile home off (remember $5k in repairs seems to be a minimum). be very careful when dealing with these people, get it in writing. The guy i used to deal with is retired, sorry no recomendations for who.
