One of the mistakes I made in the past was in taking the word of a friend when she recommended someone she had experience with who was supposedly meticulous but "needed the money." After hiring this person, I was floored when she told me she'd never heard of "orange oil" cleaners and even more dismayed when she admitted that she couldn't see the dust on the blinds because she needed glasses! That's when I decided NOT to let her come back the next day to continue the job. Sorry, I'm not running a charity here. (I think my friend needed glasses, too...)
In other words, I don't mean to belabor the point, but I hope your provider can present some kind of proof that they can deliver what they say for a reasonable price.
