Housing Lots in Mesquite

Good Evening. I was approached about purchasing several lots in the Mesquite area.... There are homes on either side and these lots are in established neighborhoods. What I don't know is what I could potentially do with these lots. I don't want to build a new home on the lot because the neighborhood is older.... I don't want to put a mobile home there because there are no mobiles in the area... Pardon my ignorance here but what would any of you do with a situation like this (other than just walk away)?

    Thanks,

Find a buyer before you buy (REI meetings are a good place...) and flip them.  A builder may be interested, or a passive investor who wants to hold them for appreciation.

Sorry Jesus, I was not very clear... These lots don't have homes on them. The homes were demolished by the city. So it's just a lot.

These sound like the lots that the city is auctioning off with the bid closing Aug 4. Do your research, the minimum bid seemed a bit high to me.

That is exactly what this is, and I agree 100%... I'm going to walk away from bidding, but I'm still curious what someone would do with something like that once they had the property....
