If I may be so bold, this is where doing your networking comes in handy! Now, as far as a reference, it could depend on what you are trying to do. RE agents typically have certain niche markets they attempt to serve, and or particular farm areas they work best. If you need to list a house you may want to find a realtor that knows your area really well, and does lots of marketing to that area. You may find one in your area by looking for signs in yards. If you need an Investor Friendly one to help you find deals, then frequent the investor clubs, search them out there, and/or find them on discussion boards, or online. Without knowing what your goal is, I really don't know who would be best to recommend. Good luck!
