Create LLC before making first deal? Or not?

I am looking for opinions/experiences/advice on whether to create an LLC (or any other incorporation) before my first deal or just get out and do it and worry about it down the road. I am getting mixed opinions from nonbelievers (not in RE :) ) and wanted to get some experienced advice on this matter.
Thank you in advance for any feedback.

May you all have a wonderful Easter weekend.

In my opinion, you should setup the LLC before you do your first deal unless you finish your first deal before you finish getting your LLC setup.  In other words, you should do both, and one shouldn't be a roadblock to doing the other.  It's OK to pursue two things in parallel.

It doesn't take long to setup an LLC, so, if you're concerned about asset protection or about doing something illegal without the protection of a business entity, then wait 'til you have your business in place.

I have a VERY reasonable source for setting up that LLC with legal advice included.
