Zillow and Tax Appraisal

    I'm having an issue with a property in Burleson.  Zillow and Johnson County list very different values for the tax appraisal of the improvement.  Is it possible I'm looking at something wrong?  Zillow is listing the 2013 value as $82,000 and Johnson County AD lists it as $63,000.

    I wouldn't give much weight to either of the sources you noted.  Your primary source should be recently sold comps from the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) for determining the market value of a house.
