Me and my business partner (well, future business partner) are in need of an experienced wholesaling mentor. We'd like to really dive into the real estate business--flipping/rehabbing homes as well as wholesaling--but we've both agreed that wholesaling seems like a good place to start as a way to earn some extra income to fund our future flips/rehabs. We're going to attend the meeting this Saturday with Robin Carriger to see what information he has to offer as well as hopefully begin building our RE network.
We've talked amongst ourselves as well as with another potential partner about going into real estate but never knew where to start. I paid for us to attend a FortuneBuilders weekend workshop and they offered some valuable information, however they only seemed to scratch the surface of information needed to really get started. Of course they offered more extensive "training" at a MUCH steeper price (in the tens of thousands) than the weekend workshop. I don't regret the money spent for the weekend workshop because, as I stated, there was some valuable information offered that we otherwise wouldn't have.
