Hi all. Long time no see. I've had to take a break due to a medical condition known as "first child born" or FCB. Treatment of FCB is a very long and arduous process, but the treatment seems to be working and I feel better than I have at any other time in my life. I would go so far as to say that FCB is the best thing that ever happened to me, but that's not why I'm here.
I found an opportunity recently to buy an empty lot with an existing billboard on property. It appears to be a reasonably good cash flow but then again I don't know much about the upkeep required for a billboard. I do see that I would need a surety bond and license to operate the billboard, but these costs seem manageable ($200-300/year). Does anyone have any experience with buying outdoor advertising that could provide any insight?
