What Marketing Are You Doing?

    The topic of our training this coming Saturday is Real Estate Marketing. Specifically, the training will cover marekting to find houses to buy, as well as other kinds of marketing to sell your houses.

    Please help me make this class one of the best of the year. To do that, I'd like to ask each of you to drop me a short note (either here or via email to greg at dfw rei club d ot com) and let me know what kind(s) of marketing you are doing now, and which type marketing you find to be the most effective.

    Targeted direct mail using my Motivated Seller Search (MSS) has been the most productive form of marketing for Cindy and I since I first developed it, and it continues to be the best for us today.  We've also had good success over the past several years with roadside signs, yellow pages ads, and personal networking.  We bought a 4-plex and another single-family rental in July.  We found the 4-plex via the MSS and the single-family via personal networking.  I'm really looking forward to this Saturday's class!
