Good afternoon, I appreciate your question about a potential property management company in McKinney! It really doesn’t matter where a property management company is based, as long as they are going to provide a good service for you. For instance, I have a property management company and I have lease properties all over the place that because I have good processes and systems in place it really doesn’t matter where the property is as long as I am willing to take on a property that may be a little over an hour from me. Where would get scary is if somebody was three or four hours away, but once you get a good tenant in place the maintenance should be minimal unless it’s a very old property that is not been well cared for or do you have a bad tenant that stops paying rent. Either one of those scenarios could happen whether it’s right down the street or it’s an hour and 15 minutes.
