Hey all, looking to generate a rough estimate for a bid on a property with a front porch in very bad condition. The house is a 1300 sq ft bungalow style house so the roof extends out over the porch. I've looked over the roof and there appears to be no bends or breaks in the roof between the porch and the house. Work needed would be to tear out the brick base (which is falling apart already), replace the base with wood or brick, and then redo the roof support columns with wooden fluted columns in order to gain approval from the historical board.
Has anyone had any experience in demo or build of a porch like this and, if so, could you give a rough estimate on cost of either?
