Dallas-Fort Worth Real Estate Investor Club

I am new to the site and investing and wanted to reach out and introduce myself. I am hoping to make some good contacts and soak up as much knowledge as possible! I currently hold a CPA license and work for a Big 4 accounting firm in Dallas. During my time in public accounting, I have worked on numerous banking, asset management, and real estate clients, which sparked my interest in real estate investing. Last year I purchased and remodeled a HUD home, which I am currently living in, and plan on flipping or keeping it as a rental once I find another property that peaks my interest. Thanks and I am looking forward to meeting everyone!

I am still looking into various areas throughout the metroplex, but lately I have been particularity interested in the North Richland Hills and Mid-Cities areas. As I am still new to investing, I would be very interested to hear others thoughts on these areas and just starting out in general.
