I found a distressed SFR near Eagle Mountain Lake. It is an REO. ARV is around $170K. According to listing agent, seller will accept an offer significantly below the current asking price. It seems like it could be a good deal, but my partner is scared of properties with foundation issues.
I hate to waste a property that may be a good deal, so I'd like to pass it along to someone in the club that is familiar with foundation issues. I am not going to ask for any sort of referral fee. All I ask in return is that you let me go along with you when you visit the property and tell me a little bit about foundations. If you purchase the property, I'd like to visit while the contractor is repairing the foundation to see what he's doing and pick his brain as well. I've never dealt with foundations, so I'd like to learn from someone that has.
