What would be some basic step to get started in whole sales ? I'm sure you will hear several different answers but here's mine. Become a student of the business, sign up for Robins Wholesale class that is coming up, attend any local investor meetings such as the DFW REI Club or the West DFW REI Group where you will learn details of all aspects of the business and just as important is network with other like minded people and BUYERs looking for deals. You can buy houses all day long with no money but you need to spend money on your education (classes, mentoring) and you need to spend money on your marketing to accelerate the growth of your business. Sure there is alot of FREE marketing you can do but the use of the best tools i.e. signs, letters and post cards all take money.
