Hello, everyone.
As a newcomer to the club and to Real Estate Investing, I thought I'd introduce myself. I've been lurking in this forum for a short while and attended my first meeting on Saturday (08/18). It was every bit as enjoyable as it was educational. It was also great meeting everyone; I will most definitely be back.
After much consideration, my wife and I have decided to take the plunge and invest in residential real estate. We're mainly interested in acquiring some rental properties in NE Tarrant County as a means of generating some passive income and building some real assets for the long haul. Now looks like a great time to get started.
We have much to learn, but for us that's part of the appeal. This forum has already proved to be an invaluable resource. We're looking forward to getting to know more of you, and hope that we'll get to the point where we can contribute back to the club and the Forum sooner rather than later.
