Is anyone using a phone system for investors that you like that you recommend?

My phone system I have been using for several years that gave me the ability to create niche messages for each phone extension for tracking purposes has informed me that they are shutting down. Does anyone have a recommended system for me? I need to find a new service ASAP. Thanks

    Hi Tim,

Vumber will allow you to use a different phone number for each marketing channel you want to track and each phone number can have its own voicemail message.

HOWEVER..Vumber has significant limitations.  My biggest issue is that if you want to forward calls that come in to more than one phone (like you and a partner) it does not sync.  So I can't see if my partner took the call and vice-versa.  You have to go to your Vumber account online to look it up.  My second biggest issue is about texting.  If you have your texts going to more than one phone, it randomly picks which phone number the message goes to.  So you could be in the middle of a text conversation only to have the reply go to the other person's phone.  My third issue is texting does not support pictures and has a character limit.

All that said, if your calls and messages only get forwarded to one phone number and you just want something to track initial calls from your marketing, Vumber could be an option for you.

    Hi Tim,

We've looked into Grasshopper.com I haven't signed up yet. At the moment, because of the ability to setup departments, extdnsions and voicemail it seems like our best option

Thanks everyone.  After further investigation, I already use Vonage Business for my main office number and it looks like I can port my marketing number into my Vonage Business account (only $9.95) and add "Unlimited" what they call "virtual receptionists" which are extensions give me the ability to add all my recorded messages I've been using.  I never realized I had this ability.  I hope it works as they say it does because it will save me from signing up and managing another system.

    Thanks for your feedback.
