I have come across a property that the owner has died. I believe that I have found the name of their son but don't know where he lives. Any recommendations on a online people search website? Or any positive experience with sites like instantcheckmate.com, beenverified.com, etc. There are quite a few pay sites out there. I don't have an issue paying if I can get results.

I use www.instantcheckmate.com. The cost is $59 annual. It is pretty good at listing all possible relations, previous addresses, phone numbers, etc.

I'm not sure how Instantcheckmate compares to other similar programs. There is probably a better value out there. I just haven't had a compelling reason to change or research other options. It has turned up good info that helped me locate several individuals so that I can make an offer on their properties. Also, it is useful to me to provide insight to help me profile an owner and possibly understand their motivation before I approach them with an offer. The things I find useful are age of the owner, criminal history, possible phone numbers, previous addresses, possible relatives and relations.

I'm unaware of any limitations. There might be. I have only run 5-10 names per month.
