I am at a cross roads in a remodel and considering replacing the kitchen cabinets.

Does anyone have a a good source for cabinets?

Are we taking about a flip or rental?

For a rental I like the ones from Surplus Warehouse. They are plywood and not press board / particle board so they stand up to more abuse. Price is a little lower than the big box stores which use particle board. They have a website so you can see what they offer.

If it's a lower end $ flip I think that they would work well.

Thanks. Looks good. I'm going to rent and hold this one.

Sticker shock! Unbelievable prices on RTA cabinets. Are these not still coming form China? Simple RTA white shakers are running $150 a linear foot.

I guess the days of the $5000 DIY kitchen with beautiful hardwood RTA cabinets and pre-cut and polished granite slabs are over. Admittedly it's been 10y since I redid a kitchen.

So, I guess I am going to have to add a cabinet maker to my payroll. What a head ache. Anyway, $3000 for 37 foot of custom cabinets painted any color I want is sounding pretty darn good at this point!

We have taken the outdated cabinets and crated the shaker look that is so popular and it was less than 1/2 the price of the new and looked brand new when were were done
