Foundation Companies

I wanted to get a few quotes with my new project. So I called a few companies that say they work with investors.

(Foundation Repair Co. name removed by site admin). They seem to not know what they are doing with the business end. It was like pulling teeth to get them out (two weeks) and it’s been over a week and still no quote. I have called and emailed several times with no response.

I had Straight Line come out. Had a good plan at a reasonable price in a couple of days. I have not worked with them yet but it seems like those who have are satisfied.

    Any other recommendations or comments?

I used Straight line recently on a pretty big, complicated project and they are very good.

They were quite busy at the time and couldn't  start as soon as I hoped,  so ask them about lead time for your own planning.

They are busy for a reason.

Their prices are VERY reasonable and trustworthy owners too.

Straightline.  They do good work, have a great warranty program.  Have used them on our rentals that have both slab and pier and beam foundations with good results.  Have also used them for drainage issues including installation of a French drain system.

If you don't need piers, they will tell you that also.

Hi there, I am a bit late with this reply but my experience when it comes to foundation , its to get an engineer to inspect the property. They will tell you exactly what you need. The report they generate overrides the foundation company estimate and can save you a lot of money installing piers you do not really need. You will pay for the report/inspection but its worth it.

Just a quick reminder... As much as it might help to know about companies that you like and/or don't recommend, it is against the policy of DFW REI Club to share negative comments about specific companies on this forum.

    Thanks,

    Robin
