I am starting a new project and it’s has 60 year old wood siding. I have a rental already that’s about the same age that also has wood and every few years it needs painting so I was thinking of going with something like vinyl. I know it’s a lot more then paint but it’s once and done.

    Any recommendations on siding company?

I am also looking for a window guy.

On siding, did you consider hardier plank? In my old homes i see vinyl planks are cracking So i might do a hardie plank next time.

I'd call your insurance agent before going with vinyl. Your policy may go up.  I would consider hardie plank siding which consists of cement.
