If paying cash for a home in Texas is the purchase price public record or private? Who besides the buyer, seller, and Title Company would know the price paid for the home? Is the Title Company free to disclose the purchase price? If no loan or deed of trust is recorded at the closing then how would any future lender on the property know what I paid for the property?
