If you need to find a contractor to rehab a property or do handyman work, check out BidClerk.com.  I just happened upon this site a few weeks ago.  If you post some info about the job you have, contractors will start calling you in an hour or two.  I had to de-list my job because I was getting four or five contractors per day trying to get an appointment.

    And it's free.

Update:  this service is no longer free.  You'll definitely get lots of vendors calling you, but it's now $60/month to subscribe.
